Counseling
Individual and family therapy is available for Harrington Cancer Center patients and caregivers who are coping with issues related to their cancer and cancer treatment. Counseling is provided by an on staff Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. A referral is required from a Harrington Cancer Center physician or staff member for this service.

Social Work Services
Social Work Services provides services to patients and family members in order to assist with the social, emotional and financial challenges frequently associated with cancer and cancer treatment. Through direct service and through collaboration with the health care team and community agencies, social workers can assist in achieving and maintaining the best possible quality of life.

Expressive Therapies
Art therapy is provided three times a week by registered Art Therapist, Beth Kean. Patients and families in the Harrington Cancer Center clinics have the opportunity to use a variety of art materials during their time in the clinics. As an adjunctive healing process, the expressive therapies are designed to promote healing and good mental health. Future plans include adding music therapy.

Nutrition Support
Nutritional counseling is provided to our patients by a registered dietitian who is board certified as a Specialist in Oncology Nutrition.  Our nutrition coordinator will work with you and your family to assist you with your specific dietary concerns. Patients and families may contact the nutrition coordinator directly or be referred by Cancer Center physicians and staff.
